Guide: Connecting to a WiFi Network on Apple/Android Devices or Windows Laptops

Connecting to a WiFi Network on an Apple Device (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open Settings: Tap the Settings app, which looks like a grey gear icon.
  2. Select WiFi: In the Settings menu, tap on "WiFi" at the top.
  3. Turn WiFi On: If WiFi is turned off, switch it on.
  4. Choose a Network: Your device will display a list of available networks. Tap the one you want to connect to.
  5. Enter the Password: If the network is secured, you’ll be prompted to enter a password. Type it in and tap Join.
  6. Connect: Once connected, a checkmark will appear next to the network name, and you’ll see the WiFi symbol at the top of your screen.

Connecting to a WiFi Network on an Android Device (Tablet/Phone)

  1. Open Settings: Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
  2. Tap on WiFi/Network: In the Settings menu, locate and tap "WiFi" or "Network & Internet" depending on your device.
  3. Turn WiFi On: Make sure WiFi is switched on.
  4. Select a Network: Your device will display available networks. Tap the network you wish to connect to.
  5. Enter the Password: If prompted, enter the password and tap Connect.
  6. Connect: Once connected, you’ll see the WiFi icon in the top corner of your screen.

Connecting to a WiFi Network on a Windows Laptop

  1. Click the WiFi Icon: Look for the WiFi icon in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar (near the clock). Click on it to view available networks.
  2. Choose Your Network: A list of available networks will appear. Click on the network you want to connect to.
  3. Enter the Password: If the network is secured, you’ll be asked for the password. Enter it and click Next.
  4. Connect Automatically (Optional): You can choose to automatically connect to the network whenever it’s in range by ticking the "Connect automatically" option before clicking "Connect."
  5. Connect: Once connected, the WiFi icon will show connected status, and you can begin using the internet.
